Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, in collaboration with the Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP), is set to host Engr. Muhammad Abbas Sajid as a distinguished speaker at the International Multidisciplinary Conference (IMC 2026). Sajid, the CEO of Engineering Services (Pvt.) Ltd., will bring over four decades of experience in mechanical engineering to the event, sharing insights on sustainable building practices in emerging economies.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, Engr. Sajid's presentation, titled "From Code Compliance to Leadership: Sustainable Buildings in Emerging Economies," will address the transition from basic building code compliance to the development of sustainable and high-performance buildings. The focus will be on innovative engineering practices and responsible decision-making. The conference, themed "Innovation for Sustainable Development: Integrating Engineering, Science and Technology," will take place on November 17-18, 2026, at UET Lahore.
