England and West Indies Aim for Glory in Group B of Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

Karachi: Group B of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 features former champions England and West Indies, who are expected to be strong contenders for the semi-finals. However, they will face stiff competition from last year’s runners-up South Africa, Bangladesh, and first-time qualifiers Scotland.

According to International Cricket Council, England, the inaugural champions in 2009, and West Indies, who last reached the semi-finals in 2018, will both seek to reclaim their dominance. South Africa enters with confidence after hosting a close-fought tournament last year, while Bangladesh and Scotland, though less experienced, have shown they can cause upsets. Group B promises to be competitive as these teams vie for a spot in the knockout stages.
