Rawalpindi: The Punjab Arts Council Rawalpindi hosted its Annual Students' Art Show, spotlighting the creative works of emerging artists from a variety of disciplines. The event, which took place at the Arts Council gallery, was inaugurated by Ms. Shazia Rizwan, Parliamentary Secretary, Information and Culture Department, and Ms. Anum Fatima, Deputy Director General (Enforcement), CDA, and Director, Municipal Corporation Islamabad.
The exhibition featured a diverse range of artworks created by students from the departments of Calligraphy, Painting and Sketching, Graphic Designing, Fashion and Textile Design, and Interior Designing. The works on display demonstrated the students' creativity, skill, and contemporary artistic expression.
A total of 50 students were recognized and awarded certificates for their artistic achievements. The event was organized under the guidance of faculty members Khuram Babury, Younis Roomi, Samra Humayun, Waqar Ali, Quratulain, Usman Ahmed Mirza, and Sameeha Khaliq. Their efforts in nurturing young talent were acknowledged by the guests.
The chief guests praised the students and faculty for their contributions to promoting art education and fostering young talent. They highlighted the importance of the arts in cultural development and creative growth.
Director of the Arts Council, Mr. Shakoor, expressed his gratitude to all those involved in making the event a success.
