DUHS to Host Patriotic Beats 4.0 Singing Competition in Commemoration of Independence Day

Karachi: Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) is set to host Patriotic Beats 4.0, an Intra-DUHS National Songs Singing Competition, as part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations. The event aims to showcase talent and national pride through performances by students from across the university. The competition is scheduled for August 10th, starting at 11:00 a.m., at Dow Medical College.

According to Dow University of Health Sciences, the competition will feature a single round where participants perform patriotic songs. The event is designed to promote creativity and cultural pride among students. Participants must adhere to a set of rules, including singing only patriotic songs and avoiding content that is hateful or inappropriate. Each performance is limited to four minutes, with penalties for exceeding this time. A scoring system will be used to evaluate the performances, focusing on theme relevance, voice, and articulation. Registration for the event is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and participants must submit their song choice upon registration.
