DSDC Achieves City and Guilds Accreditation for Training Programs


KARACHI: Dow Skills Development Center (DSDC) has reached a milestone by securing City and Guilds Accreditation for its internationally recognized training programs. This achievement underscores DSDC’s commitment to providing high-quality education and training, particularly in the healthcare sector.



According to a statement by Dow University of Health Sciences, representatives from City and Guilds visited the Dow University to formally grant accreditation to the DSDC. The accreditation process was facilitated by GEMS Pathways, the authorized representatives of City and Guilds in Pakistan.



The delegation that visited included key figures such as Country Manager Tabish Fareedi, Quality Assurance Head Muhammad Irshad, and Academic Head Muhammad Furqan Iqbal. Additionally, several distinguished representatives participated remotely, including Dr. Amir Saadati, Executive Director of GEMS Middle East, and Dr. Tony Degazon, Regional Manager for City and Guilds/ILM covering the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe.



Prof. Dr. Kashif Shafique, Director of DSDC, noted the importance of the accreditation, stating it enables DSDC to offer globally recognized training programs. This development is expected to enhance professional development and skill enhancement opportunities within the healthcare sector.
