Karachi: DHA Suffa University hosted a significant event as Engr. Mir Masood Rashid, Advisor to the Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), visited the campus to distribute cheques for the Funding Year Development Program (FYDP).

According to DHA Suffa University, during his visit on June 20, 2024, Engr. Rashid awarded funding for five engineering projects as part of the 2023-24 FYDP cycle, benefiting two projects in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, and one in Civil Engineering. In addition to the cheque distribution, Mr. Rashid briefed the university faculty on ten initiatives by PEC under the Pakistan Development Committee (PPDC). These initiatives include the FYDP, Capstone Expo, E-library, STEM initiative, and E-gateway, all aimed at enhancing the education and professional development of engineering students and professionals.
