Department of Psychology Hosts Workshop on Forgiveness, Education, and Therapy

Lahore: The Department of Psychology at Forman Christian College University (FCCU) held a pre-conference workshop titled “Forgiveness, Education and Therapy,” in collaboration with the Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA). The event, which took place on April 13, was attended by both professionals and students in the field of psychology.

According to Forman Christian College, the workshop was led by Prof. Dr. Iffat Batool and featured Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique, President of the PPA, as the chief guest. Prof. Dr. Rafique commended the collaborative efforts of the psychology department’s faculty, praising the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ivan Suneel. She emphasized the significance of forgiveness in today’s world, which is often marked by toxicity and negativity.

The workshop opened with a welcome address by Prof. Dr. Sarah Shahed and concluded with remarks from Prof. Dr. Nashi Khan. Certificates of participation were distributed by Dr. Rafique alongside faculty members and executive members of the PPA, marking the event’s successful conclusion.
