Hyderabad: The Conference on Protection of Khatman Nabuat, held in Market Chowk, emphasized the unwavering commitment of religious leaders to uphold the doctrine of the finality of prophethood, a cornerstone of their faith. Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, President of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and the National Solidarity Council, reiterated the community’s dedication to making any necessary sacrifice to defend this belief, which they regard as integral to their religious identity.
According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, the event drew notable religious figures and scholars, who collectively addressed the importance of maintaining this principle against any opposition. The conference also became a platform for voicing broader socio-political concerns, including the rights of Kashmiris and the plight of Muslims in India, alongside issues pertaining to the Muslim community’s struggles on a global scale. The assembly passed resolutions demanding international action on these matters, reflecting the intertwined nature of religious convictions and political activism within the community.
