Lahore: Prof. Dr. Khalid Manzoor Butt, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences and Faculty of Languages & Literature, received a cheque for PKR 1.5 million from representatives of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Lahore. The financial support is earmarked for scholarships to benefit high-achieving and deserving students within the faculties.

According to University of Central Punjab, this marks the fourth consecutive year that the Consulate General has provided such support. The initiative, facilitated by Mr. Wang and Mr. Liao on behalf of the Consulate General, aims to promote educational excellence among students. The university expressed gratitude to His Excellency Mr. Sun Yan for the continued support towards fostering talent in the academic community.
