Kasur: The Department of Basic and Applied Chemistry at the University of Central Punjab organized an industrial study tour to CITI Pharmaceutical in Kasur. The visit, led by Prof. Dr. Sumera Zaib and Dr. Muhammad Riaz, offered students a detailed look at the pharmaceutical manufacturing process and industry operations.

According to University of Central Punjab, the students were introduced to various facets of the pharmaceutical sector, including production processes, quality control and assurance practices, research and development activities, and industry regulatory standards. These insights were provided by the Production, Quality Control, and HR teams at CITI Pharmaceutical. The tour allowed students to engage directly with industry professionals and observe modern industrial operations and advanced technologies in action.

This educational visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, thus enhancing the students' readiness for careers in the pharmaceutical industry.
