Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Urges Parents to Ensure Polio Vaccination Amid National Campaign


Karachi: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has appealed to parents of children under the age of five to prioritize polio vaccination as part of a national campaign aimed at preventing permanent disabilities.



According to a press release issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, Bhutto Zardari emphasized that this campaign, the first of its kind in the country since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, is a pivotal initiative toward eradicating polio in Pakistan. With most parts of the world having already eliminated polio-related disabilities, the campaign is seen as a crucial moment for the nation.



Bhutto Zardari recognized the efforts of health workers who are delivering polio vaccines to over 40 million children across Pakistan, describing them as the nation’s true heroes. He highlighted the importance of society collectively respecting and honoring the numerous volunteers who are participating in the polio eradication effort.



The PPP Chairman reiterated the need for every individual in Pakistan to contribute positively and responsibly to the campaign, underscoring the goal of freeing the country from the disease.
