Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Reviews Strategic Initiatives to Boost Sindh’s Economic Growth

Karachi: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, chaired a high-level meeting at Bilawal House in Karachi to review strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating economic growth, attracting international investment, and positioning Sindh as a regional hub for infrastructure, finance, technology, and sustainable development.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the meeting, attended by Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and other high-ranking officials, focused on three key initiatives under the Public-Private Partnership framework. These include the Keti Bandar Integrated Corridor, which aims to develop Keti Bandar into a hub for maritime, logistics, and industrial activities; the Sindh International Financial Centre, designed to bolster Karachi's status as Pakistan's financial capital; and the Data Infrastructure Initiative, which seeks to attract global technology companies through renewable energy-powered facilities.

The meeting also reviewed an initiative to form Farmers' Agricultural Collectives, which seeks to organize small farmers to improve productivity and access to modern agricultural services. The initiatives are expected to enhance economic activity, create employment, and attract investment to Sindh.

The meeting concluded with the endorsement of transforming the existing PPP Unit into a company to enhance operational flexibility and engage specialists for managing complex projects. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated the commitment to fostering an environment conducive to private investment and sustainable development through these strategic initiatives.
