Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Honors Sufi Saint Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai

KARACHI: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, honored the Sufi saint and poet of Sindh, Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, during his Urs celebrations. Bhutto Zardari described the saint as a symbol of love, peace, and spiritual resistance.

In a statement from the Media Cell at Bilawal House, the PPP Chairman highlighted the timeless relevance of Bhittai’s poetry. He emphasized that it serves as a guide to humanity, advocating for a compassionate and equal society that respects all faiths.

Bhutto Zardari reiterated the PPP’s dedication to the principles championed by Shah Latif. He stated that the party draws inspiration from Bhittai’s vision of an inclusive society, where dignity is afforded to all individuals, irrespective of their background.

The Chairman concluded by encouraging the nation, particularly the young, to embrace the teachings of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai. He noted that the saint’s verses provide a path to peace and progress, urging everyone to lead with love.
