In a statement from the Media Cell Bilawal House, Zardari remarked that the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) transcends Islamic history, symbolizing courage, sacrifice, and resistance to injustice. He stressed the lessons of Karbala, encouraging steadfastness against cruelty regardless of its seeming power.
Zardari urged the nation to commemorate Ashura with solemnity and mutual respect among all religious denominations. He called for embracing the unity and peace inherent in the legacy of Karbala to strive towards a Pakistan devoid of injustice, sectarianism, and fear.
