Beijing to Host 9th Youth Camp of the Chinese Olympic Committee in November 2024

Beijing: The Chinese Olympic Committee (COC) is set to host the 9th Youth Camp from November 3 to 8, 2024, in Beijing, aiming to promote sportsmanship, cultural exchange, and cooperation among young sports professionals globally. This event marks the continuation of a successful series that began in 2013.

According to Pakistan Olympic Association, the COC has extended an invitation to the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) worldwide to nominate participants for this enriching program. Each NOC, including Pakistan, is invited to send one male and one female participant. The COC will provide for the boarding, lodging, local transportation, and half of the round-trip airfare for these participants, while additional costs like insurance and visa fees will be the responsibility of the participants or their respective organizations.

The Youth Camp, renowned for its emphasis on the educational and cultural aspects of sports, requires participants to be between the ages of 18 and 35, fluent in English, and possess a basic understanding of the Olympic Movement. The activities, lectures, and discussions at the camp will all be conducted in English, catering to a global audience.

The deadline for nominations is October 4, 2024. The Pakistan Olympic Association urges eligible candidates who are passionate about sports and interested in international cultural exchanges to apply, promising an opportunity for significant personal and professional development.
