Karachi: Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman Altaf Shakoor declared that the recent Israeli attack on Iran represents an assault on the entire Muslim Ummah, emphasizing the urgent need for unity among Muslim nations.
Shakoor condemned the Israeli aggression, describing it as a grave violation of international laws. He criticized the United States for its support of Israel, suggesting that it reflects a bias against Muslims. Shakoor warned that accepting Israel’s actions could set a dangerous precedent, allowing other nations to justify similar aggressions against opponents.
Expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine and Iran, Shakoor called on the international community to ensure that humanitarian aid reaches those in Gaza. He urged nations with diplomatic ties to Israel to sever these relationships as a demonstration of support for the Ummah. He argued that Iran is being targeted for its identity as a Muslim nation.
Shakoor also highlighted the importance of identifying and addressing internal betrayals within the Muslim community. He stressed the necessity of technological advancement, warning that survival in the modern world is challenging without it.
Criticizing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for its perceived ineffectiveness, Shakoor urged Pakistan to lead efforts to unify Muslim countries. He called for the eradication of corruption and illiteracy, advocating for the establishment of universities in every town to develop expertise in science, technology, economics, finance, and banking.
Shakoor accused Israel and its allies of attempting to incite a global conflict and urged China and Russia to intervene to prevent further escalation. He described Israel as a persistent problem in the Middle East and called on the United States to cease its support. Shakoor also criticized Western nations for their perceived double standards and urged them to halt actions that fuel conflict.
