Lahore: Asma Sharif successfully defended her Ph.D. research proposal in Linguistics during an open defense session conducted by the Directorate of Advanced Studies & Research. The session was held under the supervision of Dr. Tahir Saleem and included a comprehensive evaluation by a panel of experts.

According to University of Central Punjab, the defense committee consisted of Dr. Uzma Anjum and Dr. Urooj Alvi as External Examiners, while Dr. Muhammad Aslam served as the Internal Examiner. The session featured an engaging question-and-answer segment, highlighting the scholarly rigor, originality, and practical significance of the research topic presented by Ms. Sharif.
