Abdullah Nawaz Falls Short in World Junior Squash Championship

Cairo: Abdullah Nawaz’s journey in the World Junior Squash Championship came to an end as he was defeated in the pre-quarterfinals, failing to secure a spot in the quarterfinals.

Nawaz faced a formidable opponent in Adam Hawal of Egypt, who won the match in straight sets. The match scores were 11-6, 11-5, and 11-2 in favor of Hawal.

Despite Nawaz’s exit, the Pakistani team remains hopeful for success in the upcoming World Junior Team Squash Championship. The team is set to compete in the event starting July 27, 2025, also hosted in Egypt.

The Pakistan Squash Federation has expressed confidence in the national team’s abilities to perform well on the international stage. The federation conveyed best wishes to the players, hoping for a triumphant outcome.
