Gujranwala: Rachna College of Engineering and Technology (RCET), UET Lahore, Gujranwala Campus, hosted the IEEE ComSoc Student Tech Leadership Conference 2026 on October 21, bringing together academic leaders, technology professionals, and student leaders in a celebration of innovation and collaboration.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, the conference was attended by prominent figures including Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor of UET Lahore, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, Dean of the Faculty of Computing at UET Lahore, and Prof. Dr. Amjad Hussain, Campus Coordinator of the KSK Campus. The event also welcomed Dr. Yasir Saleem, Chair of IEEE Lahore Section, and Kashif Bashir, Chair of IEEE ComSoc Lahore Section.

The gathering highlighted the achievements of Engr. Faiqa Tariq, who was recognized for winning a grant. Her accomplishment was noted as a reflection of the innovation, dedication, and excellence that IEEE aims to foster.
