Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has commended the security forces for their recent operation that resulted in the elimination of four Indian-sponsored terrorists from Fitnat-ul-Hindustan in the Kalat and Gwadar districts of Balochistan.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari expressed his profound sorrow over the loss of Major Wajahat Waheed, who was martyred during an operation in the Shadi Kaur area of Gwadar district. The president highlighted Major Waheed's sacrifice in the fight against terrorism and extended his condolences to the officer's family.

The president praised the ongoing dedication and professional services of the security forces, which play a crucial role in maintaining peace and stability and ensuring the safety of citizens. He reiterated the nation's commitment to countering any conspiracy by foreign sponsors and local facilitators of terrorism.
