TURBAT: The University of Turbat's 25th Advanced Studies and Research Board (ASRB) meeting focused on impactful research and maintaining strict compliance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines. The meeting, held on October 13, 2026, was chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan and attended by deans and senior academic leaders.

According to University of Turbat, the board reviewed various agenda items, including M.Phil. thesis evaluations, viva voce examinations, degree awards, supervisor appointments, and proposal defenses. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan emphasized the importance of adhering to HEC guidelines for advanced studies, stating that research should address real-world challenges and contribute to solving community problems. He encouraged faculty members to pursue research grants, such as the National Research Program for Universities (NRPU), to foster a robust research culture.

The Vice Chancellor concluded the meeting by commending the faculty, scholars, and the Directorate of Graduate Studies for their efforts in promoting research excellence at the university.
