Lahore: The match officials for the upcoming Sri Lanka U17 cricket tour of Pakistan have been announced, with a series of contests set to unfold at the Multan Cricket Stadium. This tour will feature a three-day match from October 9 to 11, followed by five one-day matches scheduled between October 15 and 24.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the officiating team for the series comprises a mix of experienced umpires and referees. Imtiaz Iqbal and Saqib Khan will serve as on-field umpires for the initial three-day match, with Imranullah Aslam as the reserve umpire and Sohail Idrees as the match referee.
The series continues with various officiating combinations for the one-day matches. The first one-day match on October 15 will see Imtiaz Iqbal and Imranullah Aslam as on-field umpires, while Farooq Ali Khan will be the reserve umpire and Iqbal Sheikh the match referee. The subsequent matches will feature different pairings of officials, ensuring a diverse range of oversight for each game.
