ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has praised the security forces for their successful operation in Dera Ismail Khan, where eight terrorists of the group Fitna al-Khwarij were eliminated. The operation, based on intelligence, also led to the recovery of a substantial amount of weapons and ammunition.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari highlighted the elimination of three key figures of the terrorist group during the operation. He emphasized the ongoing commitment to counter terrorist activities, which he stated are supported by foreign entities and local accomplices.

The president called for continued operations under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision and reaffirmed the national determination to eradicate terrorism. He expressed the nation's gratitude to the security forces for their sacrifices in ensuring the country's peace and security.
