Venues Announced for 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Semi-Finals and Final

CAPE TOWN: The International Cricket Council has disclosed the venues for the semi-finals and final of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027. The announcement outlines Newlands Stadium in Cape Town as the host for the first semi-final on 17 November, while Tshwane will host the second semi-final on 18 November. The Wanderers in Johannesburg is set to host the final on 21 November.

According to International Cricket Council, all three knockout matches will be day matches beginning at 10:00 local time, with assigned reserve days if necessary. The Wanderers, with its storied history in global tournaments, will also host the India-Pakistan match on 10 October, among its three group stage fixtures and two Super 7 encounters.

Before the first semi-final, Cape Town will capture the cricket world's attention by hosting a group stage curtain-raiser between India and Australia on 7 October, a rematch of the 2023 final. Tshwane will accommodate three group games and a Super 7 encounter before its semi-final event.

In anticipation of the tournament, the ICC has opened the ticket ballot, allowing fans worldwide to register for an opportunity to secure tickets. Ticket prices range from USD $9.62 (R158) to USD $31.31 (R514), with special pricing available for families, students, pensioners, and local community groups.
