According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the president emphasized the nation's pride in the security forces' courage and affirmed that anti-terror operations would persist until terrorism is eradicated. He noted Pakistan's sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and for global peace.

President Zardari asserted the capability and resolve of the Pakistani nation and its armed forces to counter threats to peace and stability in Pakistan and the region. He reiterated the commitment to thwart any efforts by adversaries with the support of friendly nations and allies.
