Lahore: Faculty members from the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences took part in a workshop focused on Environmental Due Diligence & Reporting Tools and Life Cycle Assessment Fundamentals. The workshop, held as part of the S2Cool Project, was funded by the UKRI Ayrton Challenge Programme and aimed to provide participants with insights into environmental sustainability, life cycle assessment, and sustainability reporting.

According to the University of Central Punjab, the session was instrumental in enhancing the participants' understanding of crucial sustainability practices. The workshop featured discussions on various tools and methodologies that can be employed to assess and report on environmental impacts. By focusing on the principles of life cycle assessment, the program sought to equip faculty members with the knowledge necessary to integrate sustainable practices into their academic and professional endeavors.

The S2Cool Project, under which the workshop was conducted, is part of a broader initiative to promote environmental awareness and sustainability across diverse sectors.
