Hamburg: Arooj Nazir, a senior lecturer in the Department of Psychology, attended the 44th Annual Conference of Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies in Hamburg, Germany. The conference focused on the theme "Maintaining Human Dignity in the Midst of Crises." Ms. Nazir led a workshop titled "Maintaining Dignity and Humiliation of Immigrants in Multicultural Countries," which addressed issues of discrimination, marginalization, cultural identity, and belonging from psychological and social perspectives.

According to University of Central Punjab, Ms. Nazir's engagement at the conference allowed her to connect with an international community of scholars and practitioners. She shared insights from her academic and professional experiences at UCP while representing Pakistan in discussions centered on human dignity.
