KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has paid tribute to Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto on his 30th martyrdom anniversary, observed on September 20. According to a press release issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, the PPP Chairman remarked that the assassination of Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto was a conspiracy to discredit the Bhutto family and destabilize the PPP government led by his sister, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari described Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto as a man who devoted his life to resisting authoritarianism. He noted that despite enduring exile and witnessing family persecution, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto refused to bow before dictatorship.

Chairman PPP stressed that the sacrifices of the Bhutto family are integral to Pakistan's democratic history and urged future generations to remember those who resisted dictatorship. He recalled Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto's resolve to expose and punish her brother's assassins. He expressed confidence that justice would be served for Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto, referencing a recent Supreme Court decision to cleanse the stain of the judicial assassination of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
