Lahore: Saleema Imtiaz from the ICC International Panel of Umpires will be on-field during the Women's U19 T20 tri-series, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) declared the officials for the upcoming tournament. Scheduled to be held at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad from October 2 to 16, the series will feature teams from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, with the top two teams advancing to the final.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Bilal Khilji from the PCB National Elite Panel will oversee the first five matches as the match referee, while Iftikhar Ahmed will take charge for the remaining league matches and the final. The tournament's umpiring duties will be distributed among Abdul Moqeet, Zulfiqar Jan, Imran Jawed, and Tariq Rasheed from the National Elite Panel, with contributions from Sania Ashraf, Afia Amin, and Nazia Nazir from the Women Domestic Panel.
The matches will commence at 10 am, with the first game scheduled between Pakistan and Bangladesh on October 2. The final match is set for October 16, following a series of nine league games. Saleema Imtiaz will participate in several matches, including the final, underscoring the significance of her role in this international cricketing event.
