Governor’s Health Initiative Organizes Eye Camp for Staff and Families at Karachi’s Governor House

Karachi: An eye camp was recently conducted under the Governor's Health Initiative at the Governor House in Karachi, offering eye care services to staff members and their families. The camp, which aimed to provide comprehensive eye examinations and consultations, was part of an initiative to enhance health services for governmental personnel and their dependents.

According to Pakistan Eye Bank Society, the medical team from the organization conducted the eye examinations, provided consultations, and prescribed necessary glasses and medicines. For patients needing surgery, arrangements were made for treatment at PEBS Hospital, Nagan Chorangi. Additionally, a School Eye Clinic was set up within the Governor House premises to facilitate early detection of vision issues among students.

Sindh's Governor, Hon'ble Nehal Hashmi, visited the camp and expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Pakistan Eye Bank Society in delivering eye-care services to the community. The initiative highlighted the importance of regular eye check-ups and the early detection of vision problems.
