Birmingham: Pakistan fast bowler Razaullah has garnered attention for his impressive debut performance during the opening day of the third Test against England in Birmingham. The young pacer, who collected two crucial wickets, emerged as a standout for Pakistan in an otherwise challenging tour as part of the ICC World Test Championship.

According to International Cricket Council, Razaullah's debut was marked by his ability to dismiss England's skipper Joe Root and opener Emilio Gay, contributing to England's total of 156/4 at the close of play. This performance came after Pakistan was bowled out for 133 earlier in the day. Razaullah, one of seven players brought into the squad following a significant defeat at Lord's, impressed with his pace and bounce, drawing praise from former England captain and commentator Nasser Hussain.

"Pakistan have been calling out for something different from their bowlers for a long while," Hussain remarked to Sky Sports. Razaullah’s spell was noted for its pace and ability to challenge established batsmen like Joe Root.

On the English side, pacer Josh Tongue was instrumental in dismissing Pakistan, claiming four wickets and expressing confidence in England's position to secure a series sweep.
