Islamabad: Muhammad Zaheer Jahangir, a student from the NUST School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, has been selected to represent Pakistan at the International Festival of Youth 2026 in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Jahangir is among a select group of participants who will receive full funding to attend the event, underscoring his achievement in the media and filmmaking sector.

According to National University of Sciences and Technology, Jahangir was chosen from a pool of approximately 250 candidates across the country. His selection highlights his contributions to Pakistan's media and filmmaking industry, marking him as one of the few individuals to represent this sector on an international stage. The International Festival of Youth 2026 is expected to gather young leaders from various fields worldwide to foster cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.
