Lahore: The Department of Environmental Science recently held an Internship Learning Showcase, highlighting the achievements of 14 students who completed six-week internships with notable organizations. These internships provided students with real-world experience in environmental problem-solving.

According to Forman Christian College, the students were placed with organizations such as Lahore Waste Management Company, Ravi Urban Development Authority, Punjab Environmental Protection Agency, Punjab Resource Management and Policy Unit, and Focus Humanitarian Assistance Chitral. All participants received outstanding evaluations from their host organizations.

During the event, students presented the skills and insights they acquired, demonstrating how academic learning can be effectively applied in professional settings. They also offered suggestions to enhance collaboration between academia and industry and to expand future internship opportunities. The showcase emphasized the Department's dedication to experiential learning, aiming to equip students with the necessary professional skills for successful careers in Environmental Sciences.
