LAHORE: Punjab University has achieved a new milestone in its admissions process, enrolling 12,247 students in the first phase of this year's admission cycle. This marks a significant increase from last year's total of 11,000 admissions across both phases. According to University of the Punjab, the increase in admissions reflects the candidates' confidence in the education offered by the institution.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Ali attributed the growth in enrollments to the quality of education and the university's affordable fee structure. He emphasized that Punjab University provides numerous scholarships and subsidies to support its students. The second phase of admissions is set to commence on September 8, focusing on filling remaining seats in various programs.
