Johannesburg: Sinalo Jafta, South Africa's wicket-keeper, will not participate in the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe due to a hamstring strain, necessitating a reshuffle in the team's lineup. Jae-Leigh Filander, an uncapped player, is set to replace Jafta, with Karabo Meso expected to assume the role of first-choice wicket-keeper in the squad.

According to International Cricket Council, Filander, who has represented the South Africa U-19 team, is one of four uncapped players included in the squad. She is joined by Caitlin Wyngaard, Nthabiseng Nini, and Luyanda Nzuza, all of whom have delivered strong performances for the SA Emerging Women team in recent competitions. The updated squad, led by captain Laura Wolvaardt, is scheduled to play a series of five T20I matches in Bulawayo, starting on September 11 and concluding on September 19.
