London: England has unveiled its 15-member squad for the third and final Test against Pakistan, which is part of the current ICC World Test Championship cycle. The team, leading 2-0 in the series, has decided to retain Sonny Baker while dropping pacer Matthew Fisher from the bowling lineup.

According to International Cricket Council, the squad includes prominent players such as Joe Root as captain, alongside Jofra Archer and Gus Atkinson. Other members of the squad are Shoaib Bashir, Harry Brook, Sam Cook, Jordan Cox, Ben Duckett, Emilio Gay, Dan Lawrence, Ollie Pope, Ollie Robinson, Jamie Smith, and Josh Tongue. England secured the series with a substantial 194-run victory at Lord's, demonstrating strong performance, particularly in bowling. This win has moved England to sixth place in the World Test Championship Standings, surpassing Sri Lanka.

The series victory is a significant turnaround in England's campaign following a 4-1 loss in Australia and a 2-1 defeat against New Zealand earlier this year. Meanwhile, Pakistan, currently at the bottom of the WTC Standings, aims to conclude their tour on a positive note with the Birmingham Test commencing on September 9.
