Lahore: Khawaja Nadeem Ahmed has been re-elected as the President of the Lahore Regional Cricket Association (LRCA) for a second term, announced as unopposed by the Pakistan Cricket Board's election commissioner. Ahmed, whose new term begins on July 2, 2026, will serve until July 1, 2029. He previously held the position from 2023 to 2026. Alongside Ahmed, Muhammad Jamil Ahmed has been appointed as the secretary for the upcoming term.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the responsibilities of the LRCA President include managing regional cricket teams from the U15 level to domestic sides, overseeing grassroots cricket development, and managing club cricket activities across the region's districts or zones. The LRCA is one of only three regions in the country, alongside Karachi and Islamabad, that are organized into zones rather than districts. The five zones under LRCA's jurisdiction are Shalimar Zone, Ravi Zone, Model Town Zone, City Zone, and Cantt Zone.
