Turbat: The University of Turbat has partnered with philanthropist Haji Barkat Buledi to introduce the Haji Barkat Buledi Need-Based Cum Merit Scholarship, aimed at supporting talented and financially deserving students. This initiative seeks to enhance academic excellence and ensure equal access to higher education for underprivileged students.

According to University of Turbat, the agreement was formalized on August 18, 2026, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by UoT Registrar Ganguzar Baloch and Haji Barkat Buledi at the Vice Chancellor Secretariat. The ceremony was attended by key figures from the university and community, including UoT Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan and Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Kamal Ahmed.

The scholarship will annually provide financial assistance to 20 students, and Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan emphasized the university's commitment to removing financial barriers for underprivileged youth. Admissions for the 2027 academic year are open, with various scholarships and financial aid options available, supported by governmental and philanthropic sources.
