PTI Criticizes Sindh Government Over Alleged Misuse of Rs22 Trillion Development Funds

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi General Secretary Arsalan Khalid has voiced serious concerns regarding the utilization of Sindh's development funds, questioning the provincial government's handling of Rs22 trillion.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Khalid criticized the Sindh government's claims of spending these funds, asserting that no model Union Council or town exists in the province as evidence of such expenditure. He expressed regret over the disappearance of billions of rupees, highlighting the lack of basic facilities for the public. Khalid pointed to the state's deteriorating infrastructure, including broken roads and a collapsed sewage system, as indicators of alleged corruption.

Furthermore, Khalid lamented the condition of public facilities, noting that government schools and hospitals remain in disrepair, leaving citizens without essential services. He urged for a transparent accountability process to audit the use of funds intended for roads, schools, and basic public services, emphasizing the need to ensure that public money is allocated for its intended purpose.
