Punjab University Lecturer Represents Pakistan at UN Conference in Vienna

LAHORE: Punjab University lecturer Hafiz Fawad Ali has joined delegates from around the world at the United Nations Office in Vienna as a Fully Funded Delegate for VICMUN 2026. The international conference brings together emerging leaders to deliberate on global challenges through the Model United Nations platform.

According to University of the Punjab, VICMUN 2026 has gathered students, researchers, and young professionals to participate in simulations of United Nations committees, focusing on diplomacy, international cooperation, and sustainable development. Hafiz Fawad Ali earned his place through a competitive international selection process, securing a fully funded delegate position in recognition of his academic achievements and leadership potential.

The funding for his participation was provided by the European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance (EELISA), supporting his participation in this international forum. His representation at the UN Office in Vienna reflects not only his academic and leadership accomplishments but also Punjab University's commitment to academic excellence and the development of globally minded leaders.
