University of Haripur’s Faculty Holds First Annual Review Meeting of Graduate Research Committees

Haripur: The Faculty of Physical & Applied Sciences at the University of Haripur convened its first annual review meeting of the Graduate Research Committees under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sher Aslam Khan, the Dean of FP&AS. The meeting, which brought together department heads and graduate coordinators, focused on assessing the performance of departmental committees, evaluating student research progress, and ensuring timely communication with the Advanced Studies and Research Board.

According to the University of Haripur, several key decisions emerged from the meeting. Prof. Dr. Azhar Rasheed was appointed as the Faculty-level focal person for the Graduate Research Committees. Additionally, a new common schedule was established, mandating that all departmental committee meetings occur on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Central Library's Conference Room, aiming to enhance research collaboration and monitoring.

A four-member committee was also established to standardize the format of graduate theses, comprising Dr. Zainab Tariq Bag, Dr. Sami Ullah, Dr. Anwer Qadir, and Dr. Samiullah. Dean Prof. Dr. Sher Aslam Khan highlighted the importance of the Graduate Research Committees as platforms for research mentorship, problem-solving, and quality assurance.
