KARACHI: The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi recently presented a compelling theatre production featuring three plays by renowned playwright Bee Gul, directed by Khalid Ahmed. The trilogy, consisting of "Badal Gaye Ho," "Prologue," and "15 Minute Aur," explored themes of love, life, and social complexities, drawing an enthusiastic response from audiences.

According to Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, the production opened with "Badal Gaye Ho," a 15-minute play that delves into the silent deprivations experienced in love and marriage through the interactions of three strangers at a bus stop. The performances by Kaif Ghaznavi, Usama Ranjha, and Hassan Raza were noted for their impact.

The second play, "Prologue," was a 10-minute piece reflecting on director Khalid Ahmed's personal experiences. It featured Ahmed and Raza, whose performances added depth to the emotionally charged narrative.

The final segment, "15 Minute Aur," adapted from a story by Gabriel García Márquez, is a psychological drama about a young woman's quest to prove her innocence. The 55-minute play featured Kaif Ghaznavi and Khalid Ahmed, whose portrayals captivated the audience with the unfolding of a chilling truth.
