Lahore: The University of Education, Lahore successfully concluded its two-day research conference, "Resurgence 2026," focusing on emerging trends in research, innovation, and technology. The conference drew policymakers, diplomats, academicians, researchers, and industry leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities in a rapidly evolving global landscape. The event's concluding ceremony featured Mr. Sun Yun, Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Lahore, as the Chief Guest.

According to the University of Education - Lahore, during the conference, researchers presented cutting-edge studies and policy recommendations in fields such as Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Science. The Chief Guest inaugurated the UE Business Incubation Center, aimed at nurturing student entrepreneurship by transforming innovative ideas into sustainable ventures. The center will offer mentorship and networking opportunities to aspiring entrepreneurs.

The conference recognized the contributions of over 30 researchers with certificates and shields for their achievements. Mr. Sun Yun highlighted the strong educational partnership between Pakistan and China, noting the presence of Chinese students at the university as a testament to this collaboration. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Aqif Anwar Chaudhry emphasized the university's research accomplishments, including the inclusion of 14 faculty members among the world's top 2% scientists. He also noted the university's rising status in national and international rankings.
