KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi General Secretary Arslan Khalid has issued a strong critique of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi's statement on the federal system, labeling it an acknowledgment of the government's failure. In a press release from the PTI Karachi Media Cell, Khalid asserted that Naqvi's admission highlights the breakdown of the current imported and unconstitutional system. He argued that those who usurped the public mandate are now acknowledging the system's failure.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Khalid pointed to the political developments in Azad Kashmir, accusing the government of degrading the state structure through election rigging. He questioned the legitimacy of the current regime, asking how Naqvi and his cabinet can continue in office if the system has indeed collapsed. Khalid criticized the government's inability to address public grievances, attributing it to their reliance on 'Form 47' and lack of solutions.

Khalid further condemned the government's attempts to distract the public with superficial measures, such as small monetary incentives and technological handouts. He expressed concern over Naqvi's prediction of persistent problems and criticized the regime's lack of institutional reforms. Khalid called for the respect of the Constitution and the public mandate to restore the country's administrative and economic framework.

In his concluding remarks, Khalid accused Naqvi of reversing the country's progress during his tenure and advocated for the implementation of PTI Chairman Imran Khan's vision of freedom. He demanded immediate, free, and fair elections to replace what he described as a destructive and incompetent regime.
