Muzaffarabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, addressed party workers in Muzaffarabad, emphasizing the significance of the upcoming elections and rallying support for PPP candidate Mubashir Munir Awan. The gathering, originally a lunch invitation, evolved into a public rally, showcasing the enthusiasm of the supporters.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Chairman Bilawal highlighted the PPP's historical commitment to the Kashmir cause and criticized opposing parties for alleged electoral manipulation. He expressed confidence in Mubashir Munir Awan's victory and underscored the importance of ensuring a fair electoral process. Chairman Bilawal accused rival parties of relying on rigging to secure positions rather than earning the genuine mandate of the people.

During his address, Chairman Bilawal recounted past instances of alleged election tampering, asserting that the PPP has consistently fought against such practices. He urged the Election Commission to conduct a transparent investigation into recent complaints and emphasized the need for re-polling in certain contested areas. The PPP, he stated, will not accept results marred by manipulation and is prepared to reclaim any stolen votes.

Chairman Bilawal also proposed the establishment of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to address the ongoing crisis in Kashmir, urging all stakeholders to consider this initiative. He called for an end to internet shutdowns and advocated for the rights to governance, ownership, and employment for the Kashmiri people.

Addressing economic concerns, he criticized the PML-N's approach and contrasted it with the PPP's focus on uplifting the underprivileged. Chairman Bilawal concluded by encouraging voters to support the PPP in the upcoming elections, stressing that change can only be achieved through active participation in the democratic process.
