ISLAMABAD: Reports of fatalities during public protests in Azad Kashmir have sparked significant concern, as allegations of a fake mandate exchanged between ruling parties during recent elections come to light.

According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, the head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan and the Milli Yakjehti Council, has expressed profound concern over the deteriorating law-and-order situation. He emphasized that the reports of deaths during public protests are deeply tragic and asserted that the accusations exchanged by the ruling parties during the elections regarding a fake mandate have now proven to be a reality.

Dr. Zubair criticized the current leadership, suggesting that if they were true representatives of the public, they would not subject innocent citizens to such oppression. He called for the resolution of issues through negotiations with the National Action Committee, advocating for peace and tranquility to prevail in the region. He warned that failure to address disputes through dialogue could lead to an even greater tragedy, emphasizing the importance of promoting understanding and reconciliation over force and violence.
