BISE Sargodha Chairman Praises University of Sargodha’s Academic Reforms and Innovation

Sargodha: The Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sargodha, Abbas Haider Gondal, visited the University of Sargodha (UoS) and commended its recent academic reforms and innovations. During his visit, he met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas to discuss ongoing initiatives related to academics, research, and infrastructure.

According to University of Sargodha, the vice chancellor briefed Mr. Gondal on the university's development projects, highlighting its status as a leading research-intensive public university over the last three years. Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas emphasized the institution's commitment to equipping students with essential skills and mentioned a proposal to offer free education to the top five position holders in the BISE Sargodha examinations to promote academic excellence.

Mr. Gondal expressed his appreciation for the university's progress, noting the alignment of its programs with modern educational and societal needs. He recognized the reforms under Prof. Abbas's leadership as significant for institutional development and quality enhancement. During his tour, the BISE chairman visited numerous university facilities, including the Wazir Agha Library and the Waheed Wain Incubation Centre, among others.

The visit also included the presence of Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, Director Academics Dr. Uzma Shahzadi, and other notable university officials.
