Karachi: Khalil al-Hayya has been appointed as the new leader of Hamas, receiving congratulatory remarks and support from Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, the Central President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan and Chairman of the Mili Yakjehti Council Pakistan. Dr. Zubair extended his congratulations to Mr. al-Hayya and expressed confidence in his ability to lead with determination and insight.

According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, Dr. Zubair emphasized the consistent support from Pakistan, particularly from Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan, for the Palestinian people's rights to freedom and self-determination. He assured continued solidarity with the Palestinian cause on moral, political, and diplomatic fronts.
