Islamabad: Pakistan's Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik, has committed to strengthening the country's energy collaboration with Kuwait. This announcement was made during a meeting with Tareq Ebrahim, the Vice President Operations of the Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC).

According to Radio Pakistan, Ali Pervaiz Malik emphasized Pakistan's dedication to facilitating investment opportunities in its energy sector. During the discussion, Malik assured Ebrahim of the government's support for foreign investments aimed at bolstering the energy industry.

Tareq Ebrahim highlighted KUFPEC's interest in increasing its investments in Pakistan, particularly in the upstream oil and gas sectors. This move signals Kuwait's intention to deepen its involvement in Pakistan's energy market, which could lead to significant developments in the sector.
