NTU Holds Third Meeting of Institutional Quality Circle

Faisalabad: The National Textile University (NTU) convened its third Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) meeting on July 14, 2026, aiming to enhance institutional self-assessment and quality assurance processes. The meeting was chaired by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Rashid Masood, alongside Dr. Tanveer Hussain, Dean QEC, who underscored the importance of the IQC's role in achieving these goals.

According to National Textile University, the meeting featured presentations by Mr. Muhammad Haroon and Dr. Muhammad Naeem, who outlined the functions of the IQC and discussed the Higher Education Commission's new framework, PSG-2023. This framework is designed to guide the Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE). The meeting sought approval for the establishment of 'preparation and follow-up committees' tasked with completing the Institutional Performance Report (IPR) in line with HEC guidelines.

The meeting was attended by several key faculty members, including Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Dean, SET; Dr. Sajjad Ahmad Baig, Dean, FBS; and other prominent university officials, all contributing to the discussions on improving the university's quality assurance measures.
